Gayle,Afridi & Warner in SLPL

According to media reports close to SLC has reveaaled that hard hitting west indian batsmen Cris Gayle going to participate in the SLPL 2012.That report also indicated Australian opener David Warner also in the list of players who confirmed there participation for the SLPL.
Pakistans Former Captain and all rounder Sahid Afridi also in that list.Interestingly that report stated that Afridi has asked for the Captaincy of Franchise in order to confirm his participation.

Other Players who are confirmed there partcipation according to that report are Former Australian Captain Ricky Ponting,Cameron White,George Baily (Captain the Australian T20 side against India earlier this year),Mohomad Hafeez & Saeed Ajmal.

    SRI LANKAN PREMIER LEAGUE 2012 is starting from 11th August, 2012 in Sri Lanka just before the ICC T20 WORLD CUP TOURNAMENT. There will be 24 matches in this T20 tournament, 8 will be held in Kandy, 16 in Colombo.
