Top three performers of SL Vs Pakistan Test Series

                                                1. Kumar Sangakkara
With 2 near double centuries and not out half century inevitably makes him the man of the series in the series. This is the second time in two series against Pakistan where he become the Man of the Series.
He is the leading run getter of the tournament with 490 runs with an average of 163.33. He shown lot of character in Galle where he scored 199* in a testing circumstances to put Sri Lanka in a strong position to win the match. He became the top batsman in the world during the series. His performance in the series saw lot of records breaking and it was a lesson for the other batsman to learn how to capitalize on good starts. He made this Series his own.

2. Junaid Khan
He is not the highest wicket taker in the series but he was undoubtedly the best bowler on show. He is returning to international cricket after an injury lay of but he showed the skills and talent of a true world-class bowler. He showed how take wickets in placid tracks, how to use new ball how to use old ball with reverse swing and how to use the angles to trouble the batsman. It is unfortunate that any other fast bowler from either side unable to pose any of theses qualities. His Series stats of 14 wickets at 21.78 per wicket is certainly worth much but due to rain and lack of support by other players he didn’t got a chance to end in a winning side. His 5 wickets at SSC were truly magnificent and reminded the Wasim of old.

3. Rangana Herath
He was the highest wicket of the tournament with 15 wickets at an average of 28.33. He not won a Man of Match in the series or not talked about as Thisara Perera or Nuwn Kulasekara yet he was the best bowler for Sri Lanka once again for Sri Lanka. He did his job in the first match un noticed to help Sri Lanka win the match. He bowled over 170 overs in the series highest from the both side. He was always the defendable bowler for Sri Lankan skipper in every situation. He achieved a landmark during the series taking 150 wickets in 40 matches for Sri Lanka. As always another steady series for Sri Lanka leading spinner and his statistics edges out even Saeed Ajmal which is a nice complement for his work.
