Zimbabwe stuns South Africa

Brendan Taylor and Hamilton Masakadza both hit unbeaten half-centuries as Zimbabwe claimed a nine-wicket victory over South Africa in the T20 Tri-Series final in Harare.

The hosts chased down their target of 147 with 17 balls remaining for the loss of only one wicket, with Taylor finishing unbeaten on 59 and Masakadza on 58 not out.

South Africa could only manage 146-6 from their 20 overs, with Faf du Plessis the star of the show as he held the innings together with a knock of 66.
There was precious little support to be found, however, with Albie Morkel's unbeaten score of 34 the only other meaningful contribution.
Zimbabwe seamer Kyle Jarvis took 2-22, including opener Richard Levi for a first-ball duck, as South Africa got into early trouble and never fully recovered.
Colin Ingram (19) and Wayne Parnell (12) were the only others in double figures as South Africa closed their innings with a modest total.
Zimbabwe quickly set about chasing down the target and despite losing Vusi Sibanda for 23 with the score on 32, they encountered little resistance from the South Africa attack.
Taylor's 59 came off 41 balls with one six, while Masakadza cleared the ropes twice in his 58 from 50 deliveries.
