Mahela praised Mathews and Junaid

Angelo batted positively and we would have loved him to bat through and get a big one. But the time he spent batting he looked really in control. That's what we wanted from him batting in that position as it was a psychological battle. Both teams were trying to get on top of each other there wasn't much for us to gain from that situation," said Jayawardene.

"Experience is key" - Smith

South Africa captain Graeme Smith knows his top order will come under pressure in England but thinks they have the experience to cope.
The top two sides in the world meet over three Tests later this summer with the number one ranking, currently held by England, at stake.
Opening batsman Smith, who now only leads his country in the five-day format, will be making his fourth tour of England, where he averages 72.20 in nine Tests.
"I believe we have enough batters that have performed over time under that sort of pressure in England," said Smith.

Sri Lanka A Suffer a Huge Defeat
A five-wicket haul by fast bowler Ryan McLaren helped South Africa A take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series with an innings win over Sri Lanka A on the third day in Durban. McLaren removed three top-order batsmen in his first five overs to squash any chances of a second-innings revival by the visiting batsmen.
