So much potential for cricket in USA: Laxman

Indian middle order batsman VVS Laxman just returned from a week-long trip of the USA, where he had gone to attend the North American Telugu Association (NATA) conference in Houston along with his father, a renowned doctor.

Laxman will soon head for the National Cricket Academy ( NCA) for training and conditioning. "There is so much potential for cricket in USA," he gushed. "I knew there were quite a few pockets in LA ( Los Angeles) but I was really surprised to see so much interest in sport in Houston," he added.

Laxman was part of the Indian (junior) team that played an Australian junior team which comprised the likes of Andrew Symonds and Brett Lee in LA a long time ago.
