Hashim Amla makes history for South Africa by scoring a Triple Hundred

Hashim Amla became the first South African to score a triple hundred in test cricket. He achieved this feat against England in their first match of the 3 match series played at the Oval.This was the first triple century in England since Gooch's 333 in 1990.
 He became the ninth batsman to score 300 against England in an innings, Lara's 400 the most recent of those. And the most recent triple hundred in Test cricket was Michael Clarke's against India at the SCG.
While getting to triple hundred  Hasim Amla passed the highest score for a South African in Test made by A B De Villiers 278* against Pakistan..
