Sources from SLC revealed that no byuers from Sri Lanka had purchase SLPL Franchises.According to the Sources, seven SLPL teams have been purchased by Indian Companies.Owners of the Franchises are follows,
Wayamba - Whadhawan Holdings Pvt Ltd for US Dollars 5.02 Million
Kandurata - Number one Sport Consulting Pvt Ltd for US Dollars 4.98 Million
Ruhuna - Pearl Overseas Ltd for US Dollars 4.6 Million
Uva - SuccessSports Pvt Ltd for US Dollars 4.6 Million
Basnahira - Indian Cricket Dundee Ltd for US Dollars 4.33 Million
Uthura - Rudra Sports Pvt Ltd for US Dollars 3.4 Million
Nagenahira - Varun Beverages Lanka Pvt Ltd for US Dollars 3.22 Million
According to SLC 9 bids were submitted and 2were rejected as one was late submission and other one didnt contain neccessary documents for financial bonds.Observers thinks that Sri Lankan buyers are out of contention due to high base price of Franchises
