Alistair Cook and Brendon McCullum marked two years to go for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015
Alistair Cook and Brendon McCullum today marked two years until matches will be under way for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. BLACKCAPS Captain McCullum said he was excited about the prospects of the tournament but there were still a couple of years and major campaigns to focus on for the team.
England and New Zealand will be fighting fiercely for a finals berth in 2015. Neither country has claimed the trophy since the tournament began in 1975.
New Zealand and Australia are co-hosting the 2015 tournament and last did so in 1992. Today marks the 21st anniversary since New Zealand and Australia competed in the opening match of the 1992 series.
