Bangladesh U-19 won against Papua New Guinea

Bangladesh Under-19 team bounced back strongly from their 31-run loss against West Indies Under-19 by handing a massive 129-run defeat to Papua New Guinea in their second and final unofficial practice match at the Caloundra Cricket Club, Brisbane yesterday.
Bangladesh Under-19s posted 235 runs before getting dismissed in 49 overs, thanks to a 110-run ninth wicket partnership between Nurul Hasan and Nayeem Islam. Hasan made 50 off 70 balls that featured three boundaries while Nayeem hit unbeaten 60 off 86 balls that contained five fours and a six.

Opener Soumya Sarker was the other notable scorer with 30 and his opening partner Uttam Kumar Das added 22 runs.
Raymond Haoda and Charles Amini picked up two wickets each.
Papua New Guinea's reply was short as they were bundled out for 106 runs in 37 overs. Number nine batsman Toua Tom scored team's highest 20.
Nasum Ahmed was the most successful Bangladeshi bowler picking up four wickets for seven runs in 5 overs.
Bangladesh Under-19s will play their first official practice match against Scotland on August 7 and the second and final one is scheduled for August 8 against South Africa.
Bangladesh have been placed in Group D in the ICC Under-19 World Cup alongside Sri Lanka, South Africa and Namibia.
