ICC U-19 world Cup round up

Pakistan registered their second consecutive win in the ICC Under-19 World Cup when they beat Scotland by nine wickets in a Group B encounter at Kev Hackney Oval in Buderim on Monday.
Pakistan, who beat Afghanistan by 109 runs in their first match on Saturday, chased down Scotland’s 200 on a canter -- in 36.2 overs. Openers Sami (76) Aslam and Babar Azam (106 not out) added 163 runs to make it a one-sided affair.
Earlier, the Scottish, after electing to bat, got off to a good start and were 146 for 2 at one time but the wicket of opener Ross McLean (56) upended the picture. Left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz took 4 for 20 afterwards to ensure the Europeans don’t not beyond 200.
Sri Lanka recorded their first win in the tournament after beting Namibia by 195 runs. After Winning the toss Sri Lanka put up an impressive 298/9 in 50 overs.S. Perera top scored with 69. in reply Namibians shot out for faultery 103 in 35 overs. L Madhushanka picked up 4 wickets for 15. 
Australia gave a 212-run hiding to Nepal at the Tony Ireland Stadium in Townsville. After being put into beat, the Aussies, riding on Cameron Bancroft’s 125 and Kurtis Patterson’s 86, piled up 294 for 7.
The target proved to be too big for the Asian minnows as they folded for 82 runs in 23.5 overs with Ashton Turner (4 for 28) and Harry Conway (3 for 15) having a great time with the ball.
It was Australia's second win on the bounce: they had beaten England in their opener on Saturday.
West Indies also registered their second successive win in Group C with a nine-wicket thumping of Papua New Guinea at Endeavour Park in Townsville.
Electing to bat first, Papua New Guinea’s batting failed against a top-notch Windies bowling unit. Barring Christopher Kent (39), the rest batted like novices. Jerome Jones and Kyle Mayers were the destroyers in chief sharing six wickets between them as they bowled the opposition out for 116 in 41 overs.
The Caribbean team made a short work of the target, getting over the line in 11.4 overs with Sunil Ambris scoring 91 not out off 43 balls. He hit 9 fours and 7 sixes.
