SLPL players to be paid under three categories

According to sources close to SLC announce that players who are participating in SLPL will be contracted for 3 years and they will be divided in to 3 categories.

According to the source following are the categories: -

Category 1 – The players who are under category one would get US Dollars 35000 and Sri Lankan players who are expected to be in this category are Mahela Jayawardena, Kumar Sanagakkara, Thilakarathna Dilshan, Angelo Mathews and Muththiah Muralitharan.

Category 2 - The players who are under category two would get US Dollars 25000 and Sri Lankan players who are expected to be in this category are Dinesh Chandimal,Upul Thranga, Thisara Perera, Jeewanth Kulathunga, Suraj Randiv, Nuwan Kulasekara, Lahiru Thirimanne and Chamara Silva

Category 3 – The Sri Lankan Players in this category will be paid US Dollars 6000 and Foreign Players will get US Dollars 10000.
