Sammy asks for Consistency in the performance

Darren Sammy said West Indies needed to transform the obvious talent in the side into match-winning performances. The Windies captain was speaking following a seven-wicket defeat in the Twenty20 International against England on Sunday at Trent Bridge.
It was the final match of the Caribbean side's tour of the United Kingdom and followed 0-2 defeats in the preceding Tests and One-day International series against the hosts.

"We have just been dominated by the No.1 team in the World in all formats of the game," said Sammy.

"I think looking at the squad we have for the ODI and T20I match, we had a really, really strong team on paper."

Sammy added: "But you need to go out there and string together consistently good performances in the middle, and that's what England have done throughout [this tour] and we haven't.

"We have got to be consistently good in all three departments: batting, bowling and fielding…We are doing some good stuff, but we are not doing it consistently for long enough."
