SLPL Regional Broadcasters Announced

SLPL organizers yesterday (27) announced regional broadcasters for the SLPL which is scheduled to start on 10th August,Carlton Sports Network, Sri Lanka's premier sports broadcaster, will show the matches live in Sri Lanka.
While at a global scale, the SLPL has managed to role in some big names – ATN in Canada, ESPN 3 in the United States, United Kingdom and the Caribbean, and ESPN and STAR Sports in the subcontinent and the far east.

Organizers also revealed that the official mascot of the SLPL will be named "Silva". Brand Ambassadors of the SLPL Bhathiya and Santhush introduced "Silva" to the media present while also informing that the name was chosen after a competition was kept among the Sri Lanka Cricket fans to suggest names for the Mascot which is a large bright yellow lion with a blue mane.
