Feels as if I am making my debut - Yuvraj Singh

"It feels as if I am making my debut. I have always believed that T20 is the best format for my comeback," an elated Yuvraj told the mediapersons after he was included in the national squad for the World T20 Championship and the preceding two-match T20 series against New Zealand.

Yuvaraj set to return to the Indian Team in T-20s

Dashing batsman Yuvraj Singh is likely to be picked in the Indian squad for the World Twenty20 Championship when the selectors choose the 15-strong team in Mumbai on Friday.
Yuvraj, the man of the tournament in the 2011 World Cup, had last played for India in November 2011 before being diagnosed with a rare germ cell cancer.

We are happy with Yuvraj's progress - Rajiv Shukla


IPL governing council chairman Rajiv Shukla has said that they are monitoring the progress of Yuvraj Singh and are happy with the improvement in his health. He also added that the board is hopeful of the star batsman's availability for the upcoming T20 World Cup to be held in Sri Lanka.

Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar mourn Rajesh Khanna's death

Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has expressed grief on hearing the news of actor Rajesh Khanna’s death on Wednesday.
“Sad to hear about mr rajesh khanna I hope his soul rests in peace !!” he posted on twitter.
Sachin Tendulkar remembered watching many of his movies saying his whole family admired him as an actor.

Yuvaraj to feature in India's Preliminary squad for world t-20

Yuvaraj Singh is all set to feature in the list of 30 probables for the World T20, to be announced soon. It's not sure, though, whether he will make it to the final 15, which is likely to be announced in August.

If he does well in the domestic tournaments in coming month, there's no reason why the left-hander won't be on that plane to Sri Lanka.

 Almost everyone in this world feel that 'red is the colour of love' but if you are a certain Yuvraj Singh, then you have more reasons to believe that even 'shades of grey' can have a soothing feeling than colour red.
Even a year back, Yuvraj would have told you that he loved everything red but not anymore for the man who has successfully battled against a rare germ cell cancer.

Yuvraj hopes to return against New Zealand

Talking to reporters yesterday, Yuvraj said since there is not much domestic cricket ahead of the the T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka, starting September 18, he is eyeing a comeback with the two T20 Internationals against New Zealand slated for September 8 and 11.

Yuvraj Singh has been training at the National Cricket Academy for a few weeks now and taking baby steps towards his comeback to top-flight cricket. He said today that his target was the World T20 in Sri Lanka in September.

Yuvraj Singh's interview with the ICC's new weekly show

"Initially it was hard to accept that a guy like me who is training six to seven hours a day, running around all the time as an athlete, can get diagnosed with something like this," said Yuvraj. "It took a long time to sink in but eventually I made peace with it. I knew I have an issue and I have to sort it out." 
In the interview the 30-year old admits that it was difficult to come to terms with the fact he was seriously ill.
