SLPL Teams Preview - Uthura Rudras

Team with few stars hope youth and enthusihasm will bring them the glory in SLPL. Uthura Rudras had some surprising choices in SLPL player draft as they picked lot of low key players.Only big name they picked was Shakib and he is out with injury left them with Icon Player Murali as their main high profile player.

Their batting look very thin with only few international level batsman available in the side. Australian Rob Quiney, late inclusion for the side with Imran Farahat or Brendon Taylor need to fire for the Rudras to post a competitive total in matches.
Their Bowling is much better than their batting with the likes of Murali, Maharoof, Mills and Cooper in the ranks.

Below the Radar : Chathura Pieris who one's captain the Sri Lanka U- 19 side is a player with lot of potential. He is a good all round cricketer who can bowl left arm medium fast and capable of scoring quick runs at low down the order.
