Shahid Afridi asks India to tour Pakistan

Pakistan all-rounder, Shahid Afridi, on Wednesday urged BCCI to send the Indian team over for a tour, if they intend to resume bilateral cricketing ties with Pakistan on a long-term basis.

“It is good news that bilateral ties will be resumed. It is good that Pakistan will be touring India this year and it should be a big series,” said Afridi while speaking to media reporters on his return home from Colombo, after withdrawing from the ongoing Sri Lankan Premier League due to his wife's illness. “But I think India must also tour Pakistan as this would only further relations between the two nations," he added further.
The BCCI last month gave its nod for resumption of bilateral cricket ties with Pakistan after a gap of almost five years, by inviting the Men in Green for three One Day Internationals and two T20 Internationals, later this year.
